Common Questions

How does TailorCV work?

1. Upload your resume (PDF or DOCX) or paste it as text.
2. Paste a job description from any job board.
3. Tap Tailor — TailorCV’s AI rewrites your bullets to match the role, scores you against ATS filters, and highlights missing keywords.
4. Optionally generate a tailored cover letter.
5. Export the result as a polished PDF.

Is TailorCV free?

You can try TailorCV for free — upload a resume, paste a job description, run the tailoring, and see your ATS score plus a preview improvement. TailorCV Pro unlocks the full tailored resume: all AI rewrites, tailored summary, PDF export, and AI cover letters.

How much does Pro cost?

• Includes a 3-day free trial for new subscribers

Subscription auto-renews unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel any time in iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.

Subscriptions

How do I cancel my subscription?

1. Open iOS Settings.
2. Tap your name at the top → Subscriptions.
3. Select TailorCV → Cancel Subscription.
4. Your Pro features remain active until the end of your current billing period.

How do I get a refund?

Refunds are handled by Apple, not by us. Request a refund at: https://reportaproblem.apple.com

Restore Purchases

If you previously subscribed and the App doesn’t recognize it, tap Restore at the bottom of the paywall screen.

Account Deletion

TailorCV doesn’t require an account to use. All your data (resumes, saved tailorings) is stored locally on your device.

To permanently delete everything:

1. Open TailorCV → Profile tab.
2. Scroll to Delete account.
3. Confirm twice.
4. All your resumes, saved tailorings, and app data are permanently removed from your device.
